Meet Our Clinical Experts
Leslie Jeffries, RN, BSN, Sr. Vice President of Clinical Operations, brings over 15 years of diverse clinical experience to Prophecy’s Professional Services Division. Her experience in direct patient care includes critical care, telemetry, and medical-surgical, as well as nursing management in telemetry/medical-surgical. Broad experience in healthcare staffing includes overall local branch management, clinical management for strategic staffing partnerships with large health systems across the United States, and clinical risk management for a travel nursing company. Her knowledge of Joint Commission standards for both hospital and healthcare staffing organizations has allowed her to provide independent consulting services to staffing organizations seeking Joint Commission certification, in addition to serving as a liaison for clinical operations.
Recently, Leslie co-led the efforts of conducting over 20 formal job analysis and test plan development workshops with subject matter experts from a variety of specialties, including both nursing and allied health. Such work led to the creation of web-based, pre-employment healthcare competency assessments that meet the Federal Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures. Leslie’s passion for data collection and review has complimented the needs of hospitals and staffing companies in gathering data for their incumbent workforce related to competency assessment. By providing comprehensive statistical reviews, she has helped organizations identify specific knowledge deficits, assisting in customization of unit-specific nursing educational plans. Leslie is also assisting Prophecy’s clinical team in conducting criterion research projects with new assessment tools. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in nursing with a focus in healthcare informatics, through the University of Phoenix.
Anne Hackman BSN RN MPA, NE-BC brings over 30 years of clinical and administrative healthcare experience to her role as Senior Director of Performance Management and Insights with Prophecy. Including her most recent position as Coordinator, Nursing Outcomes & Professional Development at University of Missouri Health Care, Hackman’s background in the acute care environment includes work in nursing professional development, nursing outcomes, performance improvement activities, and independent consultation to hospitals, health plans and physician groups. Hackman discovered her passion for performance improvement during the CQI movement of the 1990s and has since led hundreds of clinical improvement teams, educated numerous health care leaders on using PDSA and Lean principles and provided PI consultation to hospitals, physicians and health plans across the country.
Hackman’s multi-faceted position includes working along side Prophecy’s clinical team to assist with onsite training and development programs for new Prophecy clients, hosting education webinars geared towards topics most relevant to Nurse Managers and Clinical Educators, presenting on behalf of Prophecy at national healthcare conferences, as well as leading client-based research projects with facility clients.
Felicia Sadler MJ RN BSN CPHQ, Vice President of Quality & Performance has over 27 years of experience in healthcare with a focus in Critical Care/CVICU and executive management. Felicia earned her Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She integrates her diverse clinical background in Administration and Critical Care to formulate proactive solutions to meet complex challenges.
Felicia serves as chairperson for ASHRM’s 2014-2015 On-Line Education Task Force. She also serves as the 2013 Co-Facilitator for NAHQ’s Ambulatory Care/Care Integration SIG and she recently presented at the 2013 NAHQ conference in Louisville, KY. Felicia oversees Prophecy’s on-site training/implementation program and works closely with healthcare organizations utilizing lean-principles for a seamless transition in the hiring/on-boarding and professional development process.
Andra Felton, RN, BSN, Clinical Education Specialist, has over 11 years experience in the healthcare industry. She is a graduate of Arkansas State University with a BSN and has enjoyed working as a Registered Nurse for 11 years. Her direct patient care experience consists of emergency room, post anesthesia care, and most extensively in the perioperative setting. Andra comes from a large hospital setting where she was the coordinator of a joint replacement program to over 1200 patients yearly providing patient education and client support to help ensure a seamless process for the best patient outcome.
Kelly Gunn, RN, MBA, Clinical Consultant has over 20 years of healthcare experience, including working on a cardiothoracic step-down unit, a brain injury rehabilitation unit, and in the corporate sector. As a consultant to healthcare staffing agencies for the past 4 years, she functions as a nurse executive – providing clinical expertise, operations, risk management and quality improvement guidance and support for the organization. She has clinical and business expertise and is an effective communicator.
Kelly also is certified as a health and wellness coach, providing coaching for individual clients as well as in the corporate setting. She participates in corporate Wellness Programs and health fairs, providing presentations and health coaching.
Kelly attended Marquette University for her BSN and earned her MBA at Rutgers University.
Christine Carrington, RN, MS, Consultant, is an experienced healthcare executive who is passionate about quality patient care. With leadership expertise in the acute care hospital environment, healthcare staffing industry, and healthcare staffing technology, Mrs. Carrington’s dual business and clinical perspectives helps her excel at organizing chaos. Her Joint Commission Certification success ranges from large, national staffing firms to start-up agencies alike.
Chris uses her 30 years of experience in the industry to serve as a clinical resource providing clinical operations and risk management support. She brings a passion for quality and un-wavered business ethics to relationships with both internal and external customers.
Chris’s most recent achievement was being inducted into Cambridge Who’s Who in 2010 for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare consulting. In 2011, Cambridge recognized Chris as Executive Professional of the year.
